Czech Mate was flown to Third place during the big one, Sherman Smoot beat out a whole lot of other competitors. But at the end of the day the first place spot still wasn't his.

This plane really adheres to the philosophy of Big Engine (powered by an R-2800), Small Aircraft. But it still isn't fast enough to top the power Rare Bear and Strega put out this year.
