Black Sheep Effect

It's been awhile since I posted anything that was actually a new photo and not old stock. So I figured since I had nothing better going on today I'd do some self shots, and this is what I came up with. But before you run off, a few things I'd like to say, if you'd like to read that is...

As some of you know I live with Crohn's Disease, well really I've been living with it my whole life but it became noticeable and almost deadly when I went into highschool and I lost around 32 pounds of weight (which almost killed me). Since then even with medication it has been taking its toll and I suffer reoccurring bouts with it, right now though I've been more on the up and up with keeping it in check and just generally getting better. Living with it and what it does is a real pain the ass (joke intended), but it gives me something to make head way against, motivation essentially to become healthier (not food wise mind ya hah, I enjoy my pizza and burgers) and generally a stronger person. Now some of you may think "Oh physically" but really it drives me to get to places where no one would expect someone to go when dealing with such issues...

And to give some appreciation out there, one of my friends has had a rough go of it with Crohn's as well, just had surgery to remove the (effectively) destroyed parts of the intestines which was helping but has come down with even more bizarre problems. Now very few people really understand what its like for either of us to deal with this, but support is always welcome.
