Not the primary reason I've been gone, negligent or lazy about doing anything on dA but it is one of the many reasons. Is because of stuff like this (see below), learning how to fly and getting good at it, etc. Went flying the other day with one of my good friends from school and some other guy. Anyways I figured I'd share some of the pics from it, one of which I put here on dA and the others from FB.
On a side note, something that should renew some interest for everyone who still reads this and visits me I'll be posting some actual photography again soon. Been given the opportunity to have a Canon again for awhile and I'm going to be using it frequently. Things will start out light as I get back into things but hopefully I'll be back with some rather impressive new stuff in short order. Take it easy and hope you enjoy.

1: Me, I didn't shave and well... didn't know I was going flying Monday and it just kind of came out that way. So I apologize for the incredibly dirty looking 'stache.
2: The middle of bumfuckistan Tennessee, not sure that is particularly I'd handed off control of the aircraft at that point and was just enjoying the view.
3: Over MTSU; as you can all see there is a gigantic amount of construction going on, it sucks.
4: Also over MTSU except this time you have the Aerospace building front and center in the picture, its where almost all of my classes are. I live in that place (it's the building with the interior courtyard)
